Another doodle that I added colors and textures to.  I was just thinking dead poets society then my mind shifted to angry birds (though the bird is not suppose to be an angry birds parody)

I've updated the site with plenty of new illustrations.  I've had all these on the computer for various projects but just hadn't gotten around to loading them up till now.  I'll keep putting up sketches, doodle and some not ready for primetime art on the blog to keep up appearances.

Planning on using this for as a skateboard design

Working on a new tee design.  Still debating on color combinations but the Creme colored shirt seems to be winning out with the Army colored tee a close second.

getting back into the swing of things

Sorry no new art, but I do have a new "Planet of the Apes" inspired tee shirt available over at stupidhurts.us The image is below.  I think the shirts turned out superb.  If you haven't gotten one I suggest you get one.

I've been without a computer (other than a little netbook and an iPad), son I've not been able to do any work (artwise) for some time.  So I've needed to push back some deadlines and have had to turn down some jobs.  Since my computer blew is power source and processor.  It was an old PC (well old by PC standards a little over 3 years old)  Kinda of getting tired of PC's with their constant crashing and freezing, lag time, and just sometimes unreliable.   So I'll be upgrading hopefully.

Got a new little Toshiba Laptop for me to goof around with in the meantime. I got a case for external hard drives so I can access some of my stuff from the broken down computer. Only thing is the old computer has 2 hard drives so I don't have access to all my files but enough to where I can get some work done, but not really feeling the doing my art on the laptop. I just can't get use to it. On the bright side I will most likely be upgrading to a new iMac (this is the aforementioned upgrade I was discussing) by the end of the month, the larger 27" screen, as long as everything goes according to plan.

In the meantime I've been getting back into actually doing some inked illustrations. Figured I'd go through my ideas/concepts in-progress file and start knocking them out one by one, though on some concepts I'm not so keen on anymore so those have been deleted and replaced. Not having a computer readily available has been sort of a blessing in disguise. I've been very productive on my drafting table. averaging about 3 or 4 illustrations per week so I got about 16 new pen and ink illustrations to scan. Have a few celebrity type portraits also on the to do list. It feels great to just draw. Though once they are scanned I'll be busy with adding colors to all those drawings.

Some fun little art drawings using Sketchbook Pro on the iPad.  Just experimenting and playing with the application getting use to painting with my finger and familiarizing myself with the app.

Meant to put this up on Halloween Day but got sidetracked with all the Halloweeness of the day.  A companion piece of sorts for the Frankenstein's monster from the 30th.

I also have a new design up over at Threadless, so if you could all go and show it some support I'd so appreciate it.
